Mistaken One

I always believe that he's on my side,

That whatever happens he'll hide

But where is he now?

Does it mean everything's just a lie?

Its so hard to live without him

Each day is a nightmare for me

Remember, we promised on each other

The last time he spent with me

A matter of seconds and then he was gone

Without letting me know the real reason

He left me hanging on.

Years later, I saw him again

Same face he's wearing on

But another Girl making him to smile

And I was hurt for a while.

He saw me at the corner of his eyes

So quickly, I dropped a fake smile.

Then, he held the girl's hand

and took a walk towards me.

No wonder she's a replacement of me

But he never said anything about her

Except that he mentioned her name

To think that they're on our favorite restaurant.

I was about to leave when he grabbed me

Begged for me to stay

The girl slapped him right away

And I told him to run after her.

He refused to listen to what I've said

So I slapped him hard

But he asked me one thing

And that's to reason out why I left.

Nothing's ever gonna change

Even if he'll know everything

Cause what matters most is NOW

We've to live with it whether we like it or not.

Maybe, we were both young at that time

So we thought we're perfect match

But when I decided to look at the other side,

I realized that it's not love but Mistaken One.
